Start by checking the current eligibility rules on the SEAI website, including the qualifying social welfare payments and home requirements. Complete the Warmer Homes Scheme application and provide any documents SEAI requests, such as proof of identity, home ownership and your payment. If your application appears eligible, SEAI may arrange a home assessment before deciding which energy upgrades are suitable. An approved contractor would then normally contact you to arrange the works, with the final decision on eligibility and upgrades made by SEAI based on your circumstances.
